I'm bored and tired here in my place so I decided to have a day in Al Khobar for a change. I'm still on my graveyard shift so I'm quite fortunate that I can do whatever I like in the morning. And besides I need to do some shopping 'coz I'll be having my vacation soon. So I just arranged my booking going to Al Khobar. I'll take a bus from here @ 0530H and I'll take the Aramco Flight by Plane @ 1600H going back here in Tanajib. Good thing I can still sleep for 2Hours in the bus before it can reach @ Al Khobar. Anyway lets move on. I arrived in Al Khobar @ around 0800H. I went directly to our flat to keep my personal stuff ( I brought with me some of my stuffs for vacation ). I meet my friends there and we went out for breakfast. After our meal we did some shopping. I need to finish everything before 1130H 'coz when " SALA " or Prayer Time will start all Malls will be close and they will open again @ 1600H, except for Fast Foods and " BA

OK peeps . . . as the title implied, "flashback", meaning lets turn back time. . . lol . . . did I just made all of u stupid? he . . . he . . . he . . . kidding aside, this are the events that happened few weeks back. I'm kinda busy so I don't have time to blog all of this before. Anyway lets move on . . . Last October 13, we had a simulated Disaster Drill here @ Tanajib. Manifa drilling project will open soon and this area is quite close to Tanajib. In case there's a gas/H2S blown up, Tanajib can be within the danger zone. So the management organized a simulated disaster drill to practice all department, such as Fire Department, Security Department, Medical Department, Air and Land Transport Department (Aviation), Medical Facilities Responders and Tanajib Disaster Control Center on their specific roles in case of a real disaster ( God forbids...finger cross ). PHTLS

Life is really full of surprises. When I came back here after a month of vacation, the higher ups scheduled me for PHTLS ( Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support ). I’m not expecting it and I’m kinda hesitant to accept it ‘coz of limited time to study. But they told me that pass or failed it doesn’t matter and the experience is quite great, especially for me that is assigned @ the Emergency Department. So what the hell . . . pass or failed it doesn’t matter!, so I just have a courage to accept it immediately. And besides the course will be in Riyadh, so it’s cool to travel from one city to another. Anyway, the time has come and 4 of us will take the course. From Al Khobar to Riyadh it will take at about 4 hours drive. We leave Al Khobar @ around 0930H and we reach Riyadh @ 1400H. We stayed @ Tulip Hotel and the course will be in King Abdul-Aziz National Guard for 2 days. The course was great and very educational ( of course… ‘dats why it’s called a course…he he he ).
